Pet Camera leader, Petcube, announced two new interactive pet cameras on Tuesday July 19. Petcube Bites and Petcube Play launched on Kickstarter around 10AM showcasing the features of the new pet tech gadgets, including an advanced treat camera for real-time rewards. In just one day, more than 400 eager customers pledged over $50,000 for the Kickstarter campaign. Full details of each product can be found on Petcube’s Kickstarter page.
Petcube Bites
Petcube Bites will have an innovative treat dispenser within the pet camera, which is long overdue compared to other pet cameras on the market which already have treat dispensers. Having testes each one, we know there is room for improvement. At first glance, it appears Petcube hit a home run with their all-in-one interactive treat cam which includes automatic reorder support with Amazon Dash Replenishment. Yes, Petcube Bites can communicate with Amazon to automatically order more treats when it senses it’s getting low.
Petcube Play
Petcube Play is the reimagined and reinvigorated version of the best-selling Petcube Camera. Play is more compact in size while including huge HD camera features including night vision and 4x digital zoom, something very unique to interactive pet cameras.
Petcube Care
Petcube also announced their new cloud recording service, Petcube Care, which will provide 10 or 30 days of recorded video. Cloud service is very common in the home security camera market, which is an added benefit of pet cameras.
Stay tuned for a detail review of each new interactive pet camera.
